Welcome to the Pondtail Lookers' Blog
Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.
Thank you!

Tuesday 16 September
Lovely day, found them all in a clearing on canal side. They all looked calm.114 posed for her photo, she had a ‘blackish blister’ on the side her tail at the top. 216 and 225 happily munching heather and 108 was having a sit down, I couldn’t see any problems.

Mon 15th - three seen
Three girls grazing around the path at the north end of the site. 225 not seen, map looked like she could be close by deeper in the greenery but I couldn't get there.

Thurs 11th - all good
Went at lunch time today (just dodging downpours).
114 and 216 in the north east of the site (///emerald.replayed.rashers), right up by the fence line. Couldn't get to them from in the site, but could see them from the path alongside the stream/creek and both looking well. Map showed the other two to be nearby but must have been too hidden in the greenery for me to see.

Weds 10th - all good
Quick visit this morning as pouring it down and couldn't find my waterproof trousers!
All four eating together around the trees in the middle of the space. 108 and 114 taking the more sensible approach of sheltering under the trees, other two out in the open. All seem fine and content despite the rain.

Mon 8th - hiding but good
All four behind the trees in the bottom right corner.
Could hear lots of stomping but couldn't see them, but found the little path down from the water and they were all down there. Everyone having breakfast together, all seemed content!
