Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.
Thank you!

All seen at the beginning of my walk snuffling up the acorns amongst the oak and holly trees. I rescued one animal which had got its head stuck in between 2 branches. Later on I saw them all back in the corral eating the grass stubble. It does not look very appetising, are they getting sufficient nutrition from it?

November 3
I have just seen lots of sloppy poo in the north enclosure.. corral..which is presumably why I couldnt find them yesterday by the canal (and I checked the blog before hand this time). Are they meant to be in there? The middle gate was closed but there are no notices on the gates and the latch on the gate at the end of Pondtail road isn't working...and people have got used to leaving it open.... Some people won't go through when the cattle are there so they meed some warning.
