All seen near the ford gate. “Billy no mates” looked happier today.

All seen sat down in a huddle chewing the cud.

Two seen happily grazing alongside the fence. No sign of “Billy no mates”. I hope he is just hiding amongst the tall gorse bushes.

 Tuesday 26 October 

All seen by the ford gate. Two were standing quietly chewing the cud. “Billy no mates” was standing between two trees doing not a lot of anything and looking quite forlorn. Is he ok?

Monday 25th October

All 3 together on the edge of the wooded area near the ford gate again. All looked healthy but still very inactive - not even eating today.

All seen eating amongst the gorse bushes near the ford gate.

 Friday 22 October

All seen near the lower gate. The rutting season is upon them and two of them (the smaller ones) were having a go!

All seen this morning lying down in the sun.

Only 1

 Only spotted 1, b ut I suppose its better than none.  Appeared well .

Tues 19th Oct

All three found near the gate at the south end of the site. Cleared a tree down across the fence near the corral.

Tuesday 19th

 Found all three by the gate near the ford at 3.00pm. They seem to be frequenting this area. Standing in the trees looking morose and inactive. When I went through the gate Teasel (088) came up to me as though she thought I had some food or was she just bored and wanted to say hallow? She looked very clean and healthy - plenty of flies around - but no problems. The other two stayed standing in the trees maybe sheltering from a quite strong wind.

Monday 18th October

Eureka! My first proper find since 16th August😲 All looked healthy but very quiet and inactive as mentioned before. Seen near ford gate around 11.00am. w3w: truck.sundial.producing

 Sunday 17 October

I went looking for them on Friday, Saturday and today but have not seen them. They are probably in the deep undergrowth. However I was lucky enough to see a deer at close hand.

Wednesday 13th

 All 3 around the ford gate. Looking very docile and miserable. Weather not bad so why? Maybe just chilling out and chewing cud. Caledonian (075) laying, Teasle (088) just standing and stared at me looking miserable, Evan (160 - Billy-no-mates) sulking in the background doing nothing. They all seem fit and well but a bit quiet.

 Also saw the 3 up by the ford gate, in the shade out of the sun. All looked well.

All seen lying beneath the trees near the ford gate,  chewing the cud.

Monday 11th October

All three spread out along the fence/Gelvert stream line. Viewed from the other side of the fence on the main path as impossible to get to them! All eating for England.

All seen near the ford gate + a magpie which was sitting on one of the cows head nibbling away at something.

Glad to see that someone has found them today as I can't make it due to car trouble🙄

All three seen at the back gate, seems like they were socialising with the yearling cows across the fence. All happy and healthy.

All seen in the distance. “Billy no mates” grazing alone from the other two.

All seen and look well other than being plagued by flies. I call number 160 “Billy no mates” as is always by itself whilst the other two snuggle up to each other.
