3 seen eating gorse near the houses.

All by the gate behind the houses munching on grass.

All well. They were along the fence along the path behind the houses in Cypress Drive..deep in the holly!

All four seen in other field today very busy grazing on the grass, no time to even look up today 😂 All look well.

Cows moved to corral section

Cows moved across back to corral section for the next couple of weeks. Depending on how the grass flushes will depend on how long they stay. Keep an eye on the blog for updates.

All good, gave them a lick and a good portion of nuts

Monday 20 February

I did see three from the canal path yesterday but nothing today, though I have just heard a moo from home! I found that they have made a path around the medical dump fence which gives access into their maze of tracks in that tall western gorse but its is tall and unless you choose a path that chance upon them you still wont see them. i think Mondays and Fridays are their duvet days and i cant find their current bedroom..

Saturday 18th February

All 4 about 200 metres South of the 5-bar gate. Looked fine - in the gorse eating the young shoots.

Thurs 16th Feb

All four seem today, nice and close to the entrance for a change! 231 too far into the gause to check, just saw rear end!

All others looked fine but seemed a lot more scratchy than usual. 

Wednesday 15th February

 All found near the new scrape, looking well.

Monday 13 February

All well though looking leaner than when I last saw them...which was when they had the lick. I picked up 20+ drinks cans in the gorse...prickly place for a party!

 Saturday 11th Feb

All 4 found near the usual SE Corner.  The gorse is getting so thick that they can be just a few metres away but invisible !  The growth of the gorse is driven by increasing carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide levels in the air - which is a shame as the heath is slowly vanishing.

Happy to report found all four happily grazing today in far top right hand side near the stream.

All four look well.

Failed to find them today!

 Failed to fine the cattle today, walked up the middle and the entire perimeter fence looking in but they were hiding well!

All seen where they were seen on Friday...but they werent there today when i first went through there...they hide and pop out when they think youve gone... All looking good for February!

Four large white cattle...how hard can it be? I couldn't find them!

No sign of any of them today, walked all around the perimeter and back down the middle.

Also noticed that the mineral lick has been moved into the stream?
