Monday 17th of April - ALL COWS OFF

Hi All, 

We've taken off the four British Whites and taken them back to the farm in Hook. 

The Grazing is looking really good at Pondtail so they've done a fantastic job, we've taken them for their annual TB test. 

Thanks so much for keeping an eye on them, we will let you know when they are due back on.

All well, browsing bramble and they've made quite a clearance in that area. Looking thin but it won't be long now...

According to my cat we are now in tick season. He brings one or two home with him!

I have checked the cattle and they appear tick free at the moment.

All seen this morning, from a distance, lying down amongst the gorse.

All very wet but munching away at the gorse by the ride between the gates.

 Sunday 9 April

All seen grazing in the wooded area near to the ford gate. All look well.

Sat 8th April

All 4 seen by the houses at pondtail. Eating grass and gorse.

Thurs 6th March 10am

All four seen, as mentioned in another post this week, can see blood on 216 lower leg, right hand side I think. Also water trough almost emplty which is strange with all this rain. Couple of cows getting a little amorous this morning, Spring is in the air!

I noticed yesterday that 216 had patches of blood behind his front right leg. Not sure if the RO spotted it today.

Monday 3 April

All well near the Pondtail gate. My blogging will be a bit patchy from now on as we are moving to Devon and will be away for a week at a time, so if people see the cattle in passing on a Monday or Friday, please blog as I may mot have been here. Thanks.

All 4 looked fine by the fence opposite Marlborough Close - digesting an earlier meal and having a good scratch on some tree trunks.
