Apologies, I am unable to check the girls on Friday, (26th June).

Wednesday 24 June

 All 3 heeding the weather warnings, found shade along the canal. Lying down chewing the cud.

All good

 They had positioned themselves by the gate to ford this morning all looking good and moving well

Tues 23rd - all good

All three grazing in the clearing near the canal. Only seen them from the towpath but all looking happy despite the heat.

Saturday 20th June

 All 3 spotted canal side. All eating and moving around confidently. Looking good!

Thursday 18th June - Staff Check + dog fur

Was onsite meeting a contractor this morning who will be replacing some gates onsite for us 

The girls all dozing in the pine woodland, content and looking well. 

I asked 216 to move on to check her leg, she seems OK, if irritated I disturbed her...! 

They are older girls and British Whites are sometimes susceptible to leg stiffness issues, so not overly concerned but please do continue to keep an eye.

On a side note, I found a pile of dog hair by the gate where someone has groomed their dog and left the fur onsite. People tend to do this thinking they are doing a favour for the local nesting birds, but if the dog has been treated with tick/flea treatments this gets is extremely toxic to anything that comes into contact with it. 

I'll see what I can do about putting some signs up but spread the word amongst your dog walking pals!

216 stiff hind leg

 Out walking my dog and 216 walked passed the gate. Her hind left leg as you look at her rear looked stiff or very slightly lame. No signs of injury I could see

Wednesday 17 June

 Found all 3 lying down chewing the cud, canal side, just in clearing where path along the fence finishes. Seem content. There was a bit of a breeze.

Some very interesting spiders webs.

Tues 16th - all good

All three grazing together around WTW ///certainly.scrapping.tonight. All looking well, no issue with flies this morning (07.40)

225 flys on udder

 Might be a scratch on 225s udder, she was quite frisky so it was hard to see. Flys were very noticeable on one side. All good otherwise

 Eating the sweet small grass shoots in the very far corner by the canal and looking very happy in the sunshine 

Friday 12th June

Only 2 spotted from the canal path at 10.45am. Both walking along in the grass. 3 showing up on NoFence.

1 seen in the gorse but all 3 in the vicinity

 3 girls looking fine, in cleared area canal side. Nice to have them back.

Tuesday 9th June - Staff Check and gate open

Hi all, saw the three girls this morning looking well

Opened the gate between the two compartments. They will be pleased with all the lush grasses on the canal side!

Friday 5th June

No Fence located all 3 in the middle of the corral but I couldn't get to them without a machete!

Plenty of physical evidence that they've been up and down the path between the 2 gates by the stream, so hopefully all's OK.

The cows have returned from their time in another small nature reserve nearby. 

Dropped off into corale side.
